Well, one victory is won... Tonight was the first night of basketball and we smoked the Evangels 92 to 57. Think they were from Oklahoma City.
Anyways, apparently we have this tradition of throwing toilet paper rolls on our first score of the first game of the year. Of course this resulted in a technical foul, but it was sure awesome. So, that was pretty exciting. But on another topic, here is a little story...

So like at the beginning of the year we played this wonderful game called bigger and better. My group ended up getting a treadmill. Well, we started out with a paper clip and traded it for a chocolate chip cookie. Wanting to welcome the new college president, Dr. Pollard, we went to their house and traded this cooke for some building blocks. Those blocks were traded for a broken chair that could be fixed which we then traded for a couch. So we are carrying this couch across a graveyard and had it about a thirs of the way to the building we had to take it on campus, when James saw one of his teachers. She called out asking if we needed some help, saying that she had a Chevy Suburban. We quickly accepted. In a move that almost made me tell James to shut up, he asked her if she had anything "bigger and/or better than this couch." She gave us a really sweet treadmill! So we were pretty excited. At some point I will put a video of this up on the website when I feel not quite so lazy. Anyways, in case you did not know, bigger and better is a game in which you start out with something small and go door to door with each item you get. If you did not figure this out by what I said, then, well, yeah. So my roomate got this shirt that said, "Charles Pollard University". It was made by error for his son. Not sure what it was supposed to say, but we decided that I should try it on. So I leave you with a very awesome picture of me fitting into a child's small size shirt. Woot!
