Welcome to jeremiahrich.com 3.4.something...! We have reorganized a lot of the site to make it easier to find your way around. For instance, the Forum link has been moved to "Interact". We realized just how many links there were flooding the top, and new a change needed to be made. Also, this version has the inclusion of the "Sitemap". There you can find the link to every page layed out, so if you are trying to find something, that may be a good place to start. As always, if you have any feedback, please do get in touch. This can be found on the Interact page as well.
This week will be a bit of a break for me, as I have been pushing very hard for the last couple of weeks getting mailers out, recording, and all that fun stuff. Lendell and I will spend all of Wednesday recording, and then pick up on the following Monday. I am thankful for this, as Hannah will be leaving for her spring break choir tour with JBU on Saturday, thus giving us a good amount of time together before then. So pray for us as we are apart. It is hard enough to not see her all day and get back late at night. So many times I will get home, and before I am even out of the car, she is standing right outside the door to give me a big hug and kiss.
Finally, I am getting an office! It isn't very big, but it will certainly serve our needs. A friend of mine, Kelly, is starting a balloon shop, and has offered to give me the "back room" to use for an office. It won't be huge, but it will give me a place to do my calls. Also, after store hours, I will be able to work on videos for the website, as well as videos for a few of the projects I have mentioned in the past. This is great, because we have so many space constraints right now in our apartment. Ultimately, it would be great to be able to get our own place, but for the time being, I am very thankful this will be working out. Enjoy the pictures below of my future cave!

Check out the helium tanks on the left!

Thankfully these walls will be painted.

This week has been a very draining week. It was the first full week of recording. Don't get me wrong; I am loving the recording process so much more than I ever thought I would, but it is a lot of work alongside everything else that must be done. So your prayers are greatly appreciated. I ended up being up all night Thursday, and was worried that we wouldn't be able to do much on Friday. I was very surprised, however, when it ended up being up probably the best day we have had thus far! God truly is blessing this project, as we are getting results past anything I had ever imagined. We spent nearly 6 straight hours (with a break for lunch) working on "All For You". We have not mixed the vocals or guitar at all yet, so keep that in mind. But you can listen to this right now here on the website on the left side and click on "All For You". Hope you enjoy it!
In a few days, I will be posting a tentative song list for the album, so look for that soon. Thanks!

For the last several weeks I have been visiting friends and celebrating the Chinese New Year here in Northeast China. I'm looking forward to returning home and rejoining Jeremiah on the recording project for the remainder of the month. There is so much work to do and with HIS provision and strength, we will accomplish it!
Jeremiah has been sending me some of the audio samples of the recording sessions for preview and I am extremely excited about the direction which the project is taking. Jeremiah has been growing in so many ways and the Lord has given him courage to overcome obstacles and meet new opportunites in his personal ministry. The new album project is the anticipated fruit of a early vision we had for the ministry. We are confident that it will touch so many people's lives. "The Sun Still Rises" is the culmination of a lot of hard work and is an inspirational opus which conveys Jeremiah's personal relationship with the Lord.
Please prayerfully consider PRE-ORDERING your copy of this special cd TODAY so we can be good stewards of the gifts that HE gives us. We have been so grateful that the Lord has given us an exceptional team for recording the project and we need your help to make sure we meet our financial obligations in our ministry. Also pray for the summer tour as we start booking new dates to support the album release.
If you would like to join our street team, you can let us know by visiting the Steetteam link at the top of the site to receive more information. When the album releases, we will be promoting our songs to radio stations all over the country and will need your help with contacting your local stations and requesting your favorite songs from the album.
If you have questions about how the album project is coming along, the church in China, or for specific prayer requests feel free to email me at: roger@jeremiahrich.com

Recording is not all that has been happening lately. With what we need to raise to make this album a possibility, we decided it would be a good idea to send out demo cds to friends and family. Hannah has been very helpful in helping get these out, as we have sent out 500 of these in the last week. Now, if we were only sending a letter, that would be one thing, but it is a bit more complicated than that... There are a total of over 20 steps and pieces that go into each individual mailer. Sure glad to have it over with.
So, feast your eyes on the following images to get a little idea of what this involved:

Look at all that stuff!

Look at all that stuff!

It may not look like much, but that's more than 40 hours worth of work!
Oh, the joys of a recording project. But seriously, I am enjoying every step of this, as the end result will be well worth everything. I'll keep ya'll updated!

Well hello there everyone. On this week starting Monday, March 5th, we began working on the rest of the record, and I am pleased to say that we have made a ton of headway in just one week. This has been one of the busiest weeks ever, and I have been getting maybe 3 hours of sleep each night, but it's all good! I can genuinely say this has been one of the best weeks of my life. Lendell and I work together very well, and it is so fun to really be exploring the creative side of things with other instruments and such. It is opening up a whole new level of possibilities for what we can do.
And then there is fundraising... We are still shy of our goal, so if you are still deciding whether to preorder or not, please keep praying about what you can do to help make this project a reality. Thanks for your support, and keep stopping by to check out the updates. We will have some pictures from in the studio pretty soon, among other things, so I will see you back here soon!

After a few delays, I am proud to announce the name of the upcoming album, "The Sun Still Rises". I have chosen this name because God always provides, always comes through. I am sort of coming out of a big time of learning. Learning He always provides, that my worth is in HIM, not in other people or my accomplishments. And because of that I know that HE will always come through, even when I fail. This is not the name of a song on the album; rather the title of the theme of my life over the last year or so.
I apologize that it has taken me so long to get this to you, but once you hear the demo song, I think you will find it worth the wait. So without further ado, please visit www.thesunstillrises.com to hear the recording of "Most Wonderful" from the new album and to read a letter about this new project.
There you can also place preorders and make donations towards The Sun Still Rises. We are in need of a minimum of $20,000 to make this a reality, so please share this with your friends. You can help us out by sending people to www.thesunstillrises.com to learn more and to place preorders. I look forward to updating you on the status of our funds, as well as the status of the songs.
We will begin recording the rest of the songs this coming Monday, March 5th, and are trusting that the required amount will come in to pay for the first week of recording. Please remember that prayer is the biggest thing we need right now (and at any time for that matter). Whether it be financially, your prayers, or both, we greatly appreciate your continued support.
