Tonight I hunkered down and wrote some code to allow you to view the news archives all the way back to the original creation of the site. It has been fun to remember back to what all I was doing/working on three years ago. It is so funny how things that were huge to me a few years ago have now faded from my memory.
On another note, the Cardinals just won the Lational League Division Series! Yeah, in case you mised it, I am from St. Louis, and am a huge fan of the Cards! It's great to see Pujols doing well, but not carrying the whole team.
Working on new shows this week, and will be visiting Kansas City in less than two weeks. If you are anywhere near there, make sure to check it out on October 21st. More details can be found on the shows page.

Plans for the new cd are progressing, and I look forward to sharing more information about it soon. I guess I am starting to learn what it is like to be busy during the week, and even moreso during the weekend. Yesterday my wife and I went to St. Louis for our (late) wedding reception. As soon as it was over, we turned around and headed back, and pulled in at 7:30 AM. Next weekend will be the first time I have had three shows in a row, and on top of that, the second one is in a different state. It will definitely be a good learning experience.
If any of you are in or will be in Kansas City on Saturday, make sure to check out the shows page for details about the Yahweh house. Two other artists are performing as well, so it will be a fun time! Hope to see some of you there.

Last weekend marked the first time I have ever had three shows in one weekend. On Friday night, I played in Lowell AR, Saturday night in Kansas City, MO, and then Sunday morning in Rogers, AR. The Saturday night at Yahweh house was awesome! Thank you all who stayed for the whole thing. I didn't start playing until around 10, so it went until 12! Arrived back at the hotel at 1:30, and woke up at 4 AM to drive back to Rogers. Fortunately Roger, my manager, was there to drive while I rested up.
It was a lot of fun, and merely a foretaste of all the travel that is ahead. Once again, thanks for coming out, it was a real blast! Made a bunch of new friends in Kansas City, and hope to return soon.
This Sunday I am having the rest of my new photography taken, so this is the first step towards the new cd! Make sure, if you have not already, to sign up to the mailing list. I will be sending out some more detailed info about the progress of the album.
Gonna go take a nap, and rest up for the big game tonight. Go Cards!

First off, Go Cards! In case you missed it, our Cardinals won game 5 of the World Series 4-2. Yeah, I know that's old news, but I have been a bit too busy to say that.
In other news, I am working on some new recordings. They are not being done in the studio, nonetheless they should be decent quality. So be looking for those shorly after Thanksgiving/early December. I have not decided which ones to do yet, but my two newest songs, "Grant Me Wisdom" and "Finished" will be included.
On another note, I had new photography taken last weekend, and will be updating the site with it shortly. Speaking of shortly, make sure you are signed up to the email list, as a more detailed update will be sent out in the next day or two. Thanks, and God bless!

I have been working on some changes to the site. So if you have had any issues with the site in the last day or two, that is why. The good news is the updates were successful! It is now even easier for me to post updates to the site, including video.
A buddy of mine, Brian Johns, made a news package in April about the music ministry. Head on over to the videos page to check it out. Will be adding more video soon.

Well shoot, looks like I haven't posted for a little while. Sorry about that! Not to mention, I have yet to do a second Newsletter. They will become regular, but right now so much is up in the air.
At the moment, we are working on the opportunity to play at the GMA conference in April. If this works out, it will be a huge opportunity to meet other people doing the same thing and will help expand my horizons. So this is the first big thing we are working on.
In addition to this, we are trying to decide the proper time to record and release the new album. What takes priority? Should I focus only on shows through the following summer? Or should the cd be ready to go for the summer tour? So the question is not if on the new cd, it simply is when.
To compound this problem, I also need to make some choices about schooling. I really feel at this point I need a break, or to take correspondence classes to knock out some general classes. This would allow for a bigger focus on music, which is where I feel lead right now. This decision needs to be made soon, so I appreciate all of your prayers.
The schooling will directly affect all of this, so is the most immediate decision. Please pray the financial side will work out, as it is the largest barrier to choosing that option at the moment. Thanks for coming by to check out the updates. Planning on adding some more video soon, as well as the new photography, which will be coming any day now. Thanks, and God bless!
